Consignment for Local Authors

At Treasure Bound Bookshop, we love supporting local voices and independent storytellers. If you're an author looking to share your work with more readers, we'd be honored to feature your book through our author consignment program.

How It Works:

  • Submit Your Book: Reach out to us with your book title, genre, retail price, and a short description. We review submissions based on fit, quality, and space available in our mobile bookshop.
  • Provide Copies: Once approved, we'll ask that you provide 5 books with a valid ISBN barcode. We display your books at our vendor cart, during community events, and special book showcases.
  • You Get Paid When It Sells: We sell your book and split the earnings — you receive 70% of the retail price, and the rest helps support our shop and mission.
  • Quarterly Updates: You'll receive updates on your sales and get paid quarterly or when your total sales exceed $50.
  • Easy Returns: If you'd like your books returned at any time, just let us know and we’ll work with you to arrange pickup.

Because we promote you and your book! We love helping readers connect with the authors they discover through our shop, because we’re storytellers too. We want our customers to know the story behind the story. That’s why we ask each author to include a short, printed biography that we’ll tuck into each book we sell — sharing who you are, what inspired you, and where readers can find more of your work. You’re also welcome to provide us with:

  • Marketing bookmarks
  • Stickers
  • Marketing flyers
  • Social media handles and websites

We’re small, but mighty. We’ll have a wall dedicated to marketing and promoting our awesome local authors. Best of all, we're mobile! We'll go where the readers are. Join our growing author community.
